Welcome to the Kozjanska House, designed after one of the most important rooms of a traditional Slovenian homestead. The house was a room with a stove, which with its pleasant warmth represented the heart of the home.
With its intense heat, the Kozjanska Hiša helps relax tense muscles, stimulates sweating, and contributes to deep relaxation and reduction of everyday stress.
Above Laško, the constellation of the Dragon (Draco) spreads out in the northern sky. It wraps around the northern sky and lies near the celestial pole, which is why some understand it as a symbol of the connection between the earth and the sky. Since it is almost always visible from our latitudes, we can understand it as a symbol of constancy, reliability and an inner compass - as a silent presence that remains even when the rest of the sky changes.
A Turkish sauna or steam bath creates a warm and humid atmosphere that is pleasant for relaxation, can help relax muscles, and has a beneficial effect on the respiratory tract.
Hum is a characteristic pyramidal hill that gives the Laško veduta its recognizable image. The sauna rest area offers guests a view of a popular local hiking spot during their wellness break, which the people of Laško affectionately call "Laško Triglav" due to its three peaks. The tradition of beekeeping and the Carthusian heritage are an important part of Laško's identity. The symbolic wealth of herbs and their connection to beekeeping are the inspiration for the sanarium, which represents a pleasant introduction to sauna bathing.
A Sanarium is a lower-temperature sauna that combines the pleasant warmth of a Finnish sauna with the higher humidity of a steam bath. It creates the feeling of a warm, humid environment reminiscent of a lush tropical forest.
The construction of the Vienna-Trieste railway line significantly marked the history of Laško and the discovery of its thermal springs. During the construction, the railway construction supervisor Leopold Rödel accidentally discovered the hot water springs and recognized their exceptional potential.
The Železna cesta infrared sauna was created in memory of the railway line that helped discover the Laško thermal springs. In addition to the beneficial infrared heat with a deep effect on the tissues, the sauna also offers the option of color therapy.
Laško has an exceptionally rich, but perhaps somewhat overlooked, mining tradition. Laško was home to a brown coal mine, which was important for the development of local industry and powered the trains of the Southern Railway. The sauna symbolizes the wealth and value that once hid deep underground, and is a tribute to the mining heritage that has marked Laško for centuries.

The Crystal Ice Cave is named after one of the characteristic symbols of our thermal water – the Laško thermal water crystal. The hexagram-shaped crystal symbolizes life energy, stability and harmonious structure. The beneficial effects of Laško thermal water are part of the long-standing tradition of the spa and wellness center.
Breathe in the fresh, cool air and enjoy a refreshing cryotherapy experience with an ice massage. Gently rub the ice cube into your skin. Start at your extremities and gradually work your way up to your torso and heart.
After a sauna, treat yourself to a moment of refreshment. Water, light and gentle aromas create a unique sensory experience that awakens the senses and completes the path to relaxation.
The variations available are Tropical Rain, Gentle Spray, Mist Refreshment and Caribbean Storm.
Choose the experience that suits you best at that moment and allow the water, light and scents to take you to a new feeling of freshness.
At the heart of the Thermana Park Sauna Center you will find the circular Kneipp path. Walking along the circular Kneipp path stimulates blood circulation, strengthens the muscles of the feet and legs, and helps you relax. For the best effect on your well-being, always start by walking in warm water and continue with walking in cold water. Walk slowly, taking your feet out of the water alternately. Repeat the process two to three times. Finish the walk with warm water.
Our unique Laško thermal water, which is the foundation of our operations, is also excellent for hydration, which is especially important during sauna use. Laško thermal water is available at two drinking fountains in the sauna center. Freshly poured from the tap, Laško thermal water is available to you throughout your visit.

During this time, the Thermal Bath of the Zdravilišče Laško Hotel is available to you.
The renovated Thermana Park Sauna Center is open only to hotel guests until October 6th.
It opens for day guests on October 7th.
Until then, saunas at the Zdravilišče Laško Hotel are available to daily sauna guests.
