Extracorporeal shock wave therapy (ESWT) is a highly technically perfected non-invasive therapy
that uses shock waves which build and strengthen healing processes and quality regeneration in
the tissue.

The therapy is highly effective in different subacute and chronic disorders of the musculoskeletal
system. Deep shock waves affect the diseased tissue through rapid changes of the localised
pressure on the tissue which increases the metabolic activity of cells through a higher membrane
permeability and better local blood circulation and thus speeds up the healing process.
