Rehabilitation nursing

At the Department of Rehabilitation Care at the Hotel Zdravilišče Laško, we help patients who need medical care and assistance with daily activities in recovery from injuries and surgical interventions on the locomotor apparatus, as well as patients with functional disabilities and rheumatic diseases of the locomotor system. 

Continuous 24-hour nursing and care is provided by a professionally qualified team of registered nurses, medical technicians and paramedics, whose central subject of activity is the patient. We also have a specialist in general medicine working in the department, who visits patients for 4 hours a day from Monday to Friday, in whom we have noticed deviations or a deterioration in their health. 

As part of rehabilitation nursing care, we offer:  

• Modern and above-standard rooms in the department, which are equipped with mechanized beds, without architectural barriers and adapted for people with mobility impairments.  
• Diet meals in the hotel dining room or in the department. If the guest has severe mobility problems and is placed in a care room, meals can be served in the room.

MEDICAL TREATMENT

On the basis of contractual cooperation with the Institute for Health Insurance (ZZZS) in Thermana Laško, we provide spa treatment, which is approved by the doctor of the Health Insurance Institute of Slovenia ZZZS based on the proposal of the attending physician who treats the insured person in the hospital, or a personal physician. 

RESTORATIVE REHABILITATION

The purpose of restorative rehabilitation is to maintain and prevent complications after an illness or injury. It is intended for guests who want to maintain their psychophysical abilities, improve the body's resistance and prevent the worsening of a long-term illness.
