The consultation before any therapy is the base of treatment and with the Specialist in Ayurvedic Medicine it is mainly based on good observation. Therefore the Specialist asks a lot of questions and listens well. He does not use special diagnostic apparatus (with the exception of the apparatus for measuring blood pressure), as he works only with his own hands. The review is based on an in-depth personal interview where he asks about the general state of your health, with special emphasis on the lifestyle. Therefore, it is very important that you describe our habits – living, working, accommodation, nutrition (good and bad) – very accurately. He reviews the area of the abdomen, eyes, tongue, nails, skin and listens to the tone of your voice. When he collects all the necessary data, he analyzes them and acquaints you with recommendations on restoring the natural balance of doshas, which includes changes in lifestyle, especially in eating habits. The basic features of any further treatment, are oil massages and herbal treatments or purification, as well as yoga and meditation. The Doctor or Specialist in Ayurvedic Medicine develops an individual program for each guest, gives advice, what food to eat and which not, which relaxation techniques are appropriate for you, proposes therapy and at the same time determines a mix of oils and natural herbs as a dietary supplement. Throughout the course of treatment he monitors the patient closely and adapts the therapy. When you reach the balance of mind and body, his aim is achieved and your health is permanently improved.
