In Thermana Laško, we have been following the guidelines of accessible tourism for many years. We strive to provide every guest, regardless of physical and psychological barriers and health restrictions, with comfort, a carefree vacation and uninterrupted access to the infrastructure.
In 2013, Laško was awarded the European Commission's European Destinations of Excellence - EDEN , giving people with different physical and mental disabilities and special needs the same opportunities to participate, experience and enjoy tourism, culture and sport.
Over time, Laško has become a synonym for accessible tourism, and together with the city we have developed a number of local experiences for disabled groups, health rehabilitation, wellness and sports tourism for the physically challenged.
The infrastructure of the Hotel Zdravilišče Laško has been designed to be free of architectural barriers and fully adapted to the needs of wheelchair users and those with mobility problems. This means that all guests have unhindered access to their rooms, the restaurant, the café, the swimming pools, the wellness area, the medical centre and the physiotherapy. For those who need medical care and assistance with everyday tasks, we offer 24-hour medical care in the hotel's nursing department.
Both hotels have wheelchair-accessible rooms, which are fully adapted for people with disabilities, allowing them to move around the room without difficulty.
Special adaptations for blind, partially-sighted and deaf and hard-of-hearing guests also play an important role. The Zdravilišče Laško Hotel offers adapted orientation boards, mobile induction loops, sound amplifiers, and Braille signs in the Spa Park.
We provide tailored menus for all guests who have special dietary requirements or follow specific eating habits. At the same time, we cater for those with various health challenges, as the health and well-being of our guests is of paramount importance to us.
Holidays for families with babies have never been easier! The lack of architectural barriers in the hotel complex makes it easy for them to access the hotel with pushchairs.
Several times a year, we organise numerous competitions and training sessions for all athletes with disabilities, as we have a disabled-friendly hotel and good conditions for competitions and training in the Tri Lilije sports hall.
Due to the quality conditions, disabled athletes regularly return to us, which helps spread awareness that accessible tourism is the tourism of the future!

Thermana Park Thermal Center reopens its doors on October 6th at 2 p.m.
During this time, the Thermal Bath of the Zdravilišče Laško Hotel is available to you.
The renovated Thermana Park Sauna Center is open only to hotel guests until October 6th.
It opens for day guests on October 7th.
Until then, saunas at the Zdravilišče Laško Hotel are available to daily sauna guests.
