The 11th Goran Dragić Basketball Camp took place in Laško from June 29 to July 5, 2025. The Goran Dragić Charitable Foundation, in partnership with the Municipality of Laško, the Thermana Park Laško Superior**** hotel and the Tri lilije sports hall, has been organizing the camp in Laško since 2021.
In Thermana, among other things we create conditions for organizing sporting events at the highest level. The annual events we host – including the Goran Dragić Basketball Camp – are confirmation and recognition for us that we are on the right path in developing sports tourism. Such media-highlighted events place Laško on the map of sports tourism and pave the way for new products. We are pleased that 145 children from the camp, 17 coaches, 9 educators and an additional 8-member organizational team stayed with us this year.
For the fifth time in a row, one of our best basketball players, along with a team of experienced and quality coaches and educators, spent seven days in the beautiful surroundings of our town, the Thermana Park Laško Superior**** hotel and swimming pool complex and the Tri lilije hall, which received a new parquet floor and air conditioning last year.
The camp is attended by boys and girls aged 9 to 15. The camp is not just about basketball. It is a wonderful combination of sport, mutual respect, getting to know each other and many moments of happiness. Participants will spend a week full of basketball and content, full of serious work, fun and surprises. The organizers have also provided an attractive and imaginative accompanying program this year.
Together with the Goran Dragić Foundation, we have given one child free participation in a one-week camp this year. We wish all the boys and girls a lot of fun and new basketball knowledge.
